The First Sunday after completing AnimationMentor....

Well, I am officially, 100% completely through with AM! I have been working on my webpage this week and weekend and will have it all finished today, I think it looks pretty nice too. I'm gonna link back to here and then link back to it from here as well. I am thinking of changing how I was using this blog for just blogging and my animations to using it as an actual blog. Anyway, I should be putting a drawing up on here, if not today then tomorrow!

Long time no draw....

Well, I did a quick drawing this morning since I hadn't in a while. The dreaded perspective foot kicked my butt here!!! Anyways, I should have my blocking for the first third of my short done tonight...yeah its LATE!!! I'll throw it up here when its done.

Wheeeew.... Loong but short weekend...

Well, I just, like 10 minutes ago; completed my re-planning for my final short at AM. Essentially I did 5 weeks worth of work in about 6 days. Which, included about 20 + hours of my weekend. Anyway, I really didnt care for my short the way it was going, so I changed it. For all intensive purposes its the same thing, i just changed everything thats happens in it....for the better I think.

Now I need to get my 3D blocking done and turned in...Tonight! Yeah right.

There are a few timing issues, and I only have completed Keys and Breakdowns for the first 1/3 which is what was/is due this last week. Next week is blocking the second third and fixing some of the issues with the first 3rd. I told my teach, Sean Sexon, that I would have it in on time for sure next week. I figure if I put 4 - 5 hours in a night and then another 20 or so next weekend I should be good!

Final cycle compilation...

Well, here are all of my Ace cycle, minus the walk. I will try and fit that in there but I doubt I will have time with my final project needing so much work. At worst case, Ill have to wait till March! :)

Drawing..crappy drawing for the day, AM starts!!!

Hey, here is my drawing for the day... o_O I know its not good at all, but at least I can say it took me less than 10 minutes to draw and with a ballpoint pen so that's gotta be worth something, right?

Also, in about 30 short minutes, my final term at AM starts. Woooooh! Who knows, if I can keep my act ad work ethic together maybe, MAYBE I can get a job doing character animation someday! ;)

First post of 2009!!!!

Well, 2008 is done and ova! My hope is that this year is the year that I can take anmating to the NEXT LEVEL!!! I really do want to work on animation as my career, so I do understand that I have a ways to go but hopefully 2009 gets me closer to that point. I start Am in 5 short days, so my plan is to get both the Death sequence and walk done over the next 4 days.

Here is my first drawing of the new year, it took....waaaay longer than it should but oh well. It was a somewhat complex drawing, at least for me!

Drawring for the day....

Well here is this kinda cool picture I found of a kid with these water guns, I spent about 35 minutes on this, I don't know why it took so long but, I didn't finish it and couldn't spend any more time on it.

Anyway, I plan to start doing 30 min to 1 hour a night on drawing and then at least 2 hours a night on whatever animation I am working on. AM starts back up on January 5th, so we'll see....
